Research: School as a Community Center: History, Modernity, and Prospects of the Concept

At the Build School 2023 Forum, the akvk+partners team presented an expert study and received an award in the architectural projects competition. Vladislava Kalinina, the Head of akvk+partners, presented the study titled School as a Community Center: History, Modernity, and Prospects of the Concept.

The study traced the evolution of the school building from a closed educational institution to a multifunctional social center. The main focus was on how new pedagogical ideas and socio-economic trends are changing the structure of buildings, transforming them into a resource for territorial development.
